Mango Lassi is an exotic take on the classic Lassi – a yogurt or buttermilk-based beverage from the Punjab, and said to be an antidote for extreme heat. This version adds the sweet tang of mangoes making it a rich, satisfying summer beverage. Mango Lassi is full of antioxidants, vitamins, calcium and potassium, and makes a great post-workout drink. Ingredients
PreparationProcess mango and sugar in a blender until puréed (skip this step if using mango purée). Add yogurt, milk and ice, blend until smooth. Garnish with pistachios and a dollop of heavy whipping cream (optional), sprinkle cardamom powder to add color and flavor (optional). Prep Time: Less than 10 minutes Serves: 4 |
